Dave Carlson joined Chipman Design Architecture in 2013 as a Desktop Support Technician and has advanced to his current role as Director of Technology. His tenure at CDA has provided him with extensive experience and a unique perspective, allowing him to effectively lead the firm's technology initiatives. Dave has achieved significant milestones at CDA, including overhauling internal IT policies and procedures, building a cloud-based infrastructure, developing a core IT team focused on efficiency and staff support and migrating on-premises technology to the cloud.
Most recently, Dave has successfully led the shift to a hybrid workflow, enabling CDA to operate efficiently since the global pandemic in 2020. He continues to set and maintain IT security standards to protect CDA and its clients and has built an automation infrastructure to support internal processes, improving overall project efficiency. Dave graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology.
